After a hot and humid week, a little cool air is more than welcome in the Shoals. I’m not suggesting you’ll need your jacket, but Saturday night’s low of 62 might qualify to some as chilly! We’ll have some thunderstorms on Friday afternoon that will probably linger into the evening hours. The National Weather Services is currently forecasting a slight chance of severe thunderstorms for Friday.
After another round of showers and possibly a thunderstorm on Saturday the clouds clear out for a cooler rest of the weekend. The rest of the week looks like a return to a typical summer-time pattern in the Shoals without the super hot conditions this week has brought us. Hopefully pleasant temperatures will continue through the 4th and the Handy Festival!
